Gary has long been interested in the Justice Court. Especially for our youth, Justice Court is where they will encounter with the law. Their first major “crossroad” in life. Their future significantly influenced by the Justice Court experience. This juncture provides an opportunity to influence and reform our county's troubled and or misguided youth. We need productive, involved citizens, not law violators, added burden law enforcement and financial strain on our society. We need a judge willing to invest in reforming our youth, while upholding the law. Encourage educational advancement, academic achievement, and pursuits of higher education. However, like any successful business, you need to know when something is not working or performing properly. Our justice system needs to operate in like fashion. How many “second chances” are appropriate? Every case is unique, however, “common sense” should still have a place on the judicial bench.
Gary strongly believes we have many good and honorable citizens within our county, many of who are involved, influencing our community for the better. While he is active in our community, he also feels the need to do more to help our community. Gary has committed to be your Justice Court Judge, pledging time and resources. We need our community strong, and safe, both require an active community body and leadership. The now famous quote; “All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to stand by and do nothing”. Gary has a history of serving, protecting and defending of way of life. Gary will not stand by, he has pledged to serve our community, just as he faithfully and honorably served our country and the US Army for 24 years.
